Harbour Protection Buccaneers

Fending off pirates and terrorists can be a tricky business.BCB International has developed a flexible, layered deterrent system against attempted attacks, one that reaches out to 600 metres at speeds of around 450 mph to deter and disable pirate vessels. The Buccaneer Launcher System uses compressed gas to lauch anything from a line, to netting or solid projectiles, including high-visibility smoke and splash projectiles to gain the attention of any intruder. The Buccaneer is simple and easy to install and load and can be operated remoteely from a secure space. BCB has been researching the use of the Buccaneer system as a counter-IED device to safely detonate explosives from a safe distance.
